Meet the Topcats Director

New Topcats Director Alex Hayes began her dance career in classical ballet classes growing up in Northern California. She studied a variety of techniques and had the opportunity to perform many lead roles in traditional ballet productions. While in high school, she and her family moved to Keller, TX where she was a member of the award-winning Keller High School Indianettes.

Ms. Hayes attended Texas State University and received a B.F.A. in Dance with a minor in English. During her time at Texas State, she was a four-year member of The World Famous Texas State University Strutters, where she danced in The Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade, Disneyland Paris, The Dallas Children’s Holiday Parade, San Antonio Spurs halftime shows, and many other performances. She was a member of both the Pom Squad and Jazz elite groups, and served as Vice-President and President during her Junior and Senior years. Ms. Hayes is currently on staff for Danceline Productions USA where she enjoys choreographing and providing leadership training to dancers all over Texas.

Ms. Hayes is excited to be a part of The Colony High School, The Cougar Family, and serve as Director of The Topcats!
